A new banner

While waiting for the results from last race at London to be processed, I made a new banner from one of Trevor's photos.

TTS has a Christmas break and we will meet again January 7th at the legendary La Sarthe!

Max number of teams reached

Seven teams are now registered in the TTS series, which means there is no more room for new teams to enter. If you still want to join the series you can ask the team manager of an already existing team if you can join theirs. Head over to the Teams page to find a list of teams and their contact info.

Race date draws near!

Time flies and the first race date (December 3rd) draws near! If you haven't got a team already, it's about time to either make one or join one. Right now there are three teams registered:

Arctic Racing (3 drivers)
EM.com Racing (2 drivers)
Ultra Max (3 drivers)

A fourth team is currently in the process of making. The series has room for 5-6 teams, so it's not too late to enter a new team to the series.

Send them a message if you want them in your team.

Currently there is no race marshal for the first race (if you want to apply for that position, send me an e-mail on eran0004@gmail.com),  and if we can't get one we have to do the first race without it.

Important times

For the first race, on December 3rd, the room will be created by me at 06.00 UTC time and there will be 45 minutes of practice. At 06.45 the qualification session will begin. It will work like this:

06:45. The regulations will be set to 990 kg / 200 hp
06:45 - 06:50. All class B cars must enter the room. Class B cars that doesn't enter during this period will be disqualified. Class B cars can not leave the track and enter again after 06:50. So make sure you do all settings adjustments BEFORE you enter qualification session. This is to make sure that all class B cars are within the allowed regulations. Once you've entered the room, you can start your qualification laps.
06:50. The regulations will be changed to 1100 kg / 400 hp.
06:50 - 07:00. All class A cars enter the room. Once you've entered, you can start your qualification laps.
07:00. Race starts.

Event settings

Damage will be set to heavy (drive safe)
ABS and TCS are optional driving aids allowed
Slipstream effect will be set to weak
Penalty will be set to off (but no cheating, penalties will be give after the race if something is found on the replay)
Fuel consumption and tyre wear is on

And now for something completely different: Time trial data collection

This has nothing to do with TTS, but I'll share it anyway.

I've been collecting data from the Time trial #23 at Trial Mountain today. Once every hour from 10.00 to 18.00 I collected the data from the Gran-Turismo.com website, to make a graph of the changes over time.

The graph below is showing the result. The vertical scale is the position of the lap time and the horizontal scale is the date and time when the lap time was made. Click on the image to open the full scale GIF animation.
